On Thursday, March 24, a crew from the French Creek Valley Railroad Historical Society met at Pomona Park (adjacent to the SECO/Warwick Plant) on Routes 6 & 19 to level the display track. The track panel was build to display Erie Lackawanna caboose #C356.

In 2010 the panel was lengthened to allow both the caboose and former Erie locomotive #518 to be displayed together. The locomotive is being donated by the Ashtabula, Carson & Jefferson Railroad.

The north section of the track, where the caboose normally is placed, was approximately 6″ low so the crew attached a cable to the caboose and used a pickup truck to pull the caboose to the south end of the track. Once that was completed the crew used mechanical jacks to raise the track and then a pneumatic tamper (similar to a jack hammer) to tamp (compact) the stone under the ties so that the track would remain level.
